It was great to see Aguerd on the way back and looking very assured. Some great passes as well. Cultured.

Seems quite slight for a centre back though. Hope he’s not going to get bullied in the PL.

Great to see the youngsters getting a run out as well and some of them looked very impressive. Moyes played that one well.

I didn't think there were a lot who looked that drunk.. Think the atmosphere in the stadium was more due to the lack of importance of the game, just seemed chilled..

We didn't leave the old town till about 8.30, we were drinking with a well known West Ham fan who I know, the police actually approached him and asked what time we'd like the coach to leave, it was bizarre.

Re the "Corporate" supporters at Anderlecht, I was sitting alongside and there were no issues on the way out with other west ham.

There were quite a few faces amongst the West Ham in this section and at one stage stewards formed a line as the Anderlecht fans did not appreciate the feedback they were receiving from our corporate support...

I totally agree with your comments. I believe that our atmosphere can be quite flat because many of our supporters turn up totally wasted after being on the booze all day. This was especially evident at Frankfurt, but also last night in Bucharest.

Speaking of West Ham v West Ham, I’d heard that some of our ‘supporters’ had turned on the West Ham corporate supporters at Anderlecht, giving them a few clumps as they had emerged from their section.

Fair play to the Bucharest Ultras last night who were dressed mainly in black. They were chanting, singing, waving their flags and doing their ‘Tai Chi’ routine all throughout the match, not pausing even when we scored our goals. Whatever they were on I certainly want some of it.

Astra were Romanian champions to be the first time we lost to them, and champions the second time.

They were a side we should have been beating, but they weren't the utter dross some of our more masochistic fans make out.

You could see how suprised the bench were especially Nolan, he couldn't believe it was going so well. Perhaps he was thinking "if you cross the ball in early etc then we have a good chance of scoring" and let's attack eh !!!

i'm not sure if Scarles had scored that let chance if it would be a good thing or bad, they'll be so much hype after and Real and Man City scouts down at Rush Green 24/7

Was a very good performance yesterday considering the personnel. None of them looked out of place and our senior players in Aguerd, Downes and Fornals stepped up.

The atmosphere before the game in the Old Town was very good but during the game itself it was flat. Part of it was probably due to the ground being 3/4 empty, already securing top spot in the group and the opposition being of a low quality.

It could also be down to the late kick off as a lot of people had probably been pissed and sobered up due to not having alcohol for probably 1-2 hours before kick off if you got the coach.

I saw a little bit of West Ham on West Ham trouble before the game, probably when everyone was intoxicated with booze and whatever else but it was quickly put to bed.

You do get some proper bellends who support us and there is always a few more when the tickets go to general sale.

Great trip, 6 out of 6 and roll on 9 March!

I honestly looked forward to this match, partly because I couldn't see how the old women could still bitch and moan, given the fact that o lot of our yoof were playing their first match for their team. Seems I was wrong!

I would imagine that a few on here are actually addicted to gloom depression and negativity. They just cannot abide any type of positivity. Fuck me.

Still, the proper fans that paid their hard-earned and watched that, sang and SUPPORTED our players throughout, and I for one enjoyed from my armchair almost as much as them.

You'd think West ham have smashed every team we've ever played the way some go on . Young players being blooded, players getting a great run out after injuries, plus those whose form has dropped . There keeper made some really good saves , that was a good run out this squad needed. Good fun and very enjoyable, unlike that kidderminster game last year ,horrendous viewing.

Fucking hell if you can't get any pleasure from a bunch of our youngsters putting in a great performance then I don't think supporting West Ham is for you! Some idiot compared it to BFS putting out the youngsters against Forest and that was even before kick off. Our magnificent away support turned up in numbers, I don't suppose they were bitching about it and enjoyed every minute!

Oh come on! FCSB had literally nothing to play for last night and it showed. A total dead rubber of a match.

Yes, the young lads played well, but they were given so much time and space by a dispirited, disinterested opposition that had just sacked it's manager.

I'd actually argue it was a failure to only put 3 past them, given Silkeborg smashed them 5-0 home and away.
